WATCH: eSports "Gamechangers" Screening with Q&A
In 1998 a single video game forever changed the world. The game was StarCraft. It would go on to become the foundation of esports (electronic sports) and the force behind the online streaming medium Twitch. This global phenomenon began in the modest South Korean internet cafés known as PC bangs. It was from these humble beginnings that our characters "MC" and "MMA" would begin their dreams. Dreams that eventually lifted them out of poverty and placed them on the world stage as champions. But a life in esports comes at a cost and as we follow these players throughout a year of their lives we find out just what it takes to compete at the highest level and achieve ones Dreams of Blizzcon.

DEMOTIME: THE THIRD FLOOR Presents Key Takeaways Across Multiple Seasons of Game of Thrones Chris Edwards, CEO and Founder
Join Chris Edwards, CEO of THE THIRD FLOOR, and other special guests, for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at over six years of Emmy Award-winning work on Game of Thrones. The challenge of staging feature film-quality scenes for television inspired the development of streamlined production workflows and intuitive virtual techniques – using tools that have evolved from over a decade of THE THIRD FLOOR’s contributions to ambitious virtual productions such as Avatar, Gravity, Beauty and the Beast, and Thor: Ragnarok.

Come see how these practical innovations are helping directors and producers bring their grand visions to life cost effectively, and in a highly collaborative environment. Since audiences are not necessarily aware of time and budget considerations frommedium to medium, it’s critical for OTT networks and creators to leverage new technologies that boost efficiency and deliver maximum production value to their viewers.

In The CW’s new drama “All American,” Samantha Logan plays Olivia Baker, Coach Billy Baker’s (Taye Diggs) daughter and quarterback’s (Michael Evans Behling) sister. But really, she’s a girl with a dark and destructive past that no one seems to acknowledge, so when Spencer’s the first person to really see her, she can’t help but feel a connection deeper than she’s ever felt before.

Logan had a season-long recurring arc on the second season of “13 Reasons Why.” Earlier this year, she played a lead role in the film “Polaroid,” as well as a supporting role in the film “The Empty Man.”

WATCH: Hulu Sneak Preview “Zen Dog” and Behind the Scenes Short "Zen Dog: On the Road" with Q&A
Mud (Kyle Gallner) has been trapped in his daily routine for a long time. He runs a struggling virtual reality startup that promises to transport users to exotic locations from the comfort of their homes. Plagued by recurring nightmares of a stranger’s suicide, Mud has a difficult time coping with his monotonous existence.

One day, his eccentric cousin Dwayne (Adam Herschman) shows up at his doorstep, disturbing the comforting pattern Mud has created for himself. Dwayne introduces Mud to the power of lucid dreaming with the hopes that it will quell his nightmares. Thus Mud dreams himself into a road trip across America in a psychedelic Volkswagen. Finding himself experiencing a life without the usual comforts and meeting colourful characters, he starts discovering more than he initially bargained for.

In recent years, many films have dealt with how modern urban life gets alienating, but few have achieved the profound effect of Zen Dog. Writer / Director Rick Darge deftly weaves together his visuals, sounds, touching performances and the words of late philosopher Alan Watts in service of a beautiful, inspiring tale. Using real locations and local crew spanning across the entire United States, the unique production of Zen Dog harkens back to the days of modernist American filmmaking that captured reality in its purest form.

WATCH: "Adoptable" The Digital Series with Creator, Scott Lowell
ADOPTABLE! is an awkward and bittersweet comic television series written by and starring Scott Lowell loosely based on his own experiences searching for his birth parents back in the late ’90’s. It is presented as a documentary being directed by Jennifer Lim (Linda Park of TV’s “Enterprise” & “Crash”) which follows successful actor and adult adoptee Scott Fishman (Lowell) of the hit TV show “Cops & Bottoms” in which he co-stars with Noah Wyle (Noah Wyle as a fictionalized version of himself).  Bowing somewhat to pressure from his fiancé, Lisa Crane (Emily Swallow, “The Mentalist”, “Monday Mornings”) and their therapist Bob Raskin (Jim O’Heir of “Parks and Recreation”) as well as his own desire to know himself a bit better before getting married and starting a family, Fishman embarks on the journey of seeking out his birth parents.  He is aided along the way by an intermediary named Mary Elizabeths played by multi-Emmy Award® winner Sharon Gless (“Cagney & Lacey”, “Burn Notice”, “Queer as Folk”).

LEARN: “Autonomous LA” Presented by Creative Capers and GLAS Animation
From the beginning, GLAS has always emphasized the importance of independent animation in the United States. For this screening we defined ‘independent’ as work made without the support of commercial funding and outside of educational institutions. Work made in this context always carries an extra edge of innovation and experimentation, made for no other reason than to satiate the creator’s curiosity. This screening highlights films made by a younger generation, creating work in the epicenter for commercial entertainment, Los Angeles.
